I worked with Melo at Texas Department of Human Services until his retirement. He was a hard working man with strong hard work ethics and the ability to always follow through with everything expected of him in any position he held. Melo was an asset to our organization and unit. May he rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.

Our sincerest condolences to our primos, the Palacios family. Even though we hadn't been in close contact with Melo in the recent past, we remember with great fondness the wonderful times we spent together in our younger days. Rest in peace, primo. You and all your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Dora, Ricardo, and Veronica Vergara
