Gordon Ray West, 77, passed away on December 22, 2016. Mr. West proudly served his country as an Air Force veteran. He had a career as police officer in Laredo before retiring from Arcelor Mittal Steel formerly known as Inland Steel. He is preceded in death by his son; Rodney West. Mr. West is survived by his wife; Maria Atonieta “Toni” West of 60 years, son; Steven Joseph (Linda) West, grandchildren: Brett West, Ian West and Gianna West.
A visitation was held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10:00am-11:00am at the Fred Dickey Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary was recited at 11:00am followed by full military honors provided by United Sates Air Force and Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.
