Our beloved mother, Gloria L. Rodriguez, 91, was called home peacefully on February 20, 2024 after a recent gradual decline in health.

Gloria was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas. Her work career consisted of 22 years of service at JC Penny and 10 years at L.I.S.D where she later retired.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of 59 years, Leopoldo Jr.  Sons: Arturo (Alma) and Leopoldo Gerado Rodriguez. She is survived by her four daughters: Emma (Rene) Deleon, Anna (Jorge) Melve, Maggie (Joe) Rodriguez, and Sara (Carlos) Hernandez, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.

Pall bearers will be her grandsons: T.J David, Joey, Martin, Arturo Jr., Armando and Arnoldo Rodriguez.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, February 23, 2024, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from the funeral home to San Jose Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
