Georgie Ann Gunn, 74, passed away, Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
Mrs. Gunn was a loving wife and mother. She was a retired employee of United ISD where she worked first at United High School, then at United Middle School until she retired in 2003. Mrs. Gunn had a way of encouraging children to “look it up”. She will always be remembered for dancing down the halls and her Angel collections.
Mrs. Gunn is preceded in death by her parents: George Q. (Lillie) Rochetzky and great-granddaughter: Shelby Garza.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 54 years of marriage, Danny D. Gunn, Sr., children: Jacqueline D. (Ricardo) Garcia, Danny D. Gunn, Jr. of Peekskill, NY and Tommy D. (Patricia) Gunn, grandchildren: Christina (Ross) Ornelas, Deanna D. Garcia, Jasmine A. Gunn, James Dean Gunn, Jacob Gunn, Emily Gunn and Amy Edith Gunn, step great-granddaughter: Chloe Ornelas, siblings: Carl Allen (Carolyn) Roschetzky of Amarillo, TX, Barbara Armstong of Alaska, Margie (James) Dittlinger of Hunt, TX, Linda (Fred) Seaquist and Fred A. “Tony” Roschetzky of Corpus Christi, TX.
The family will receive guests Friday, March 18, 2016, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will be celebrated at 7:00 pm. Cremation services will follow at a later date.

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Gunn family in their loss. my son Jay was best friends with Tommy, whom we always had the pleasure of having in our home. From the Solis and Martinez families, our prayers are with you and are so very sorry for your great loss.
Mr. Gunn, Jackie,Tommy and all the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have nothing but good memories of her from the 12 years we worked together at the 8th grade campus. I worked with Georgie and worshiped with her at the Church of Christ. I loved her joyful disposition. A few church friends will come by Friday to pay our respects and to leave some sandwiches and such at the funeral home. I called Fred Dickey's and they said we could.
