I'm so glad you had each other. How lucky he was to have found you. I know he has a wonderful view from Heaven and is looking after you. He will want you to be happy again, as do we. What a lucky man he has been to have these years with you. I know you will be OK soon as you are strong and wise and faithful. I'm so sorry I can't be there with you. Bill forbids my trying the trip and I guess he is correct. But I'm wanting to be with you, and am with you in my heart. All blessings and love, Sarah and Bill

Irma, I am so sorry to hear about the death of you husband Genaro. I like you, call my home Laredo and Austin. I consider myself very fortunate to have met you in 1975 in Austin. I felt lost in Austin, but you made me feel at home at Austin High School, as one of the Assistant Principals. And years later, to my surprise, you became Principal at my second high school. You joined the great family of Johnston. You were very much missed after your retirement, but you should know that you impacted many lives as an educator. I was glad to hear that you built a new life in Laredo and married Genaro. So I am sure you will deeply miss him, but know that our thoughts and prayers of your friends in Austin are with you and your family. Your friend always, Arabella Gonzalez Adame

Reciban nuestras condolencias.

Dear Irma and Family: We were saddened to hear about the demise of Genero. Please accept our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy. I met Jerry many years ago through his late brother, Juan, who worked with me at the U. S. Post Office. Jerry and I became very good friends for many years. We will miss him. May God have Jerry in everlasting peace and happiness in heaven, and may it be your consolation to find in God above strength in His understanding and comfort in His love during these saddened and difficult times in your lives. Please know that we, too, share in your grief. May happy memories fill your hearts and lift the burden of sadness and grief into joy as also have of Jerry. May God give you comfort and peace by knowing that Jerry left behind happy memories. May God bless you. You have our love and our sympathy. Sincerely yours in friendship and deep affection, Louie and Sylvia Vela, and Family
