Francisco Leza Alvarado, 71, entered into eternal rest Friday, March 2, 2018.
Mr. Alvarado was a veteran of the United States Army. During his tour of duty, he served during the Vietnam War. For his valor, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with “V” Device. He was a brave and loyal soldier.
Mr. Alvarado is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio (Francisca) Alvarado; siblings, Mary Gutierrez, Irene Peña and Antonio Alvarado, Jr.; brother in law, Roberto Carrillo.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jose Antonio (Yesenia) Alvarado and Francisco Alvarado, Jr.; grandchildren, Rebecca Alvarado, Antonio Alvarado, Victoria Alvarado and Angel Alvarado; siblings, Josefa (Jose) Ramirez, Dionicio (Linda) Alvarado, Lucia Carrillo, Rosario (Lucas) Espinoza, Cecilia (Juan) Sandoval, Sylvia Garcia and Juan F. (Terry) Alvarado, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive guests Monday, March 5, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. American Legion Post 59 will initiate a 2 men flag fold presentation at 6:00 pm. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm by Deacon Crispin Soto. Cremation services will be at a later date.
