Evonne Rodriguez, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

Mrs. Rodriguez was an artistic person full of traits.  She was a Sunday school educator, passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students and a retired licensed vocational nurse. Mrs. Rodriguez loved singing and mostly serving God.

Left to honor and cherish her memory is her loving husband: Juan Alfonso “Poncho” Rodriguez, children: Santana Rodriguez and Lysa Evonne Rodriguez, grandchildren: Santana Rodriguez, Jr., Alexus Evonne Rodriguez, and Sarah Rodriguez, sisters: Barbara Jones and Audrey Sweatt.

The family will be receiving friends, Friday, June 5, 2015, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7:00pm.  Esther Gallegos will officiate.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the funeral home chapel.  Chapel service will officiate at 10:00am by Tony Gutierrez.  Interment will immediately follow to City Cemetery.
