She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro Villarreal; parents, Eligio & Sofia Lopez; father, Alvaro Alvarado; grandson, Oscar Villarreal, Jr.; sister, Irene Navarro; sister-in-law, Irma P. Rodriguez.
Evangelina is survived by her children, Alberto A. Villarreal, Antonio A. Villarreal, Sylvia Alicia (Oscar) Villarreal, Adolfo Villarreal, Raquel Villarreal; 7 grandchildren, Daniel Villarreal, Ramiro Villarreal, Enrique Villarreal, Brian Villarreal, Rodolfo Garza, Priscilla Garza, and Roxanne Garza; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family and friends who will greatly miss her.
The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Danny Villarreal, Enrique Villarreal, Brian Villarreal, Rudy Garza, Hector Navarro, Miguel Aguero, and Angel Torres; Honorary Pallbearers are Alberto Villarreal, Antonio Villarreal, Adolfo Villarreal, Oscar Villarreal, Ramiro Villarreal, Alberto Charles, Santos Reyes, and Adrian Lerma.
