Dear Norma, Dacia, Wendy, Selina and families. We were so sad to read about Ervey this morning (5/11/2020) in the Corpus Christi online paper. He was such a fine gentleman and such a loving father and family man, and will be missed by many. We are forever in his debt for being such a loving friend and neighbor to our elderly parents when we could not be there to help them out. No finer Christian than Ervey ever lived.
Our condolences go out to Norma and the girls, as well as all the rest of their families. The world is a better place for the legacy Ervey and Norma started. I remember when he sold me his old 47 Ford convertible after he had tired of fixing it. Later we used that same car to go together to our high school graduation sixty years ago this month.
