Our beloved brother and uncle, Enrique Stein, 85, of Laredo passed away March 30, 2017, in Laredo, TX.
He will kindly be remembered to us as, “Tio Kike”, a very intelligent, gentle and kind person to everyone that met him. He graduated from St. Augustine High School, Laredo Community College and Laredo State University. Mr. Stein was a proud veteran of the United States Army and former employee of Hilario Cavazos.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister: Thelma F. Chacon, nieces: Elvira (Ricardo) Gaona and Cynthia (Federico) Cardenas, grandnieces and grandnephews: Danny Gaona, Christopher Gaona, Marisa Gaona, Hector Cardenas, Carolina Cardenas, Miranda Cardenas and Saul Cardenas. Also surviving Mr. Stein are special friends: Sylvia Morales, Luis Morales, Amy Morales, Jose Maria Morales and Angel Morales.
The family will receive guests Monday, April 3, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at San Agustin Cathedral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and the United States Army. Cremation service will be at a later date.
