Elisa Valle De León, 81, entered into eternal rest on, Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
Elisa Valle De León was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas from parents originally from Cerralvo Nuevo León. Elisa received a high school education with emphasis in business administration. Elisa worked in Nuevo Laredo as a young administrator in industrias unidas and a renowned furniture store of the Greenblum family. She married and raised 3 successful children by emphasizing education and a strong work ethic. Elisa once her children were of age she entered the workforce in Laredo Texas as a stellar apparel salesperson. She worked for prestigious clothing stores like Joe Brand, Richters and Jaquelines Boutique at the Mall del Norte in the 80s, 90s, and retired in 2008. She then enjoyed retirement with her friends, sisters and grandchildren. Elisa will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Horacio De León, Sr., parents, Enrique & Maria Elisa Valle; grandson, Roberto De León, Jr.; sisters, Irma Valle Ancira, and Aurora Valle Enriquez.
Elisa is survived by her children, Horacio (Guadalupe) De León, Jr., Roberto (Sandra) De León, and Veronica Chapa (Richard Crane); 6 grandchildren, Horacio Antonio (Nadia) De León, Ricardo Javier De León, Carlos Daniel De León, Carolyn De León, Alexandra Chapa, Christina Chapa; 4 great-grandchildren, Sofia Madeline De León, Isabella Andrea De León, Horacio Antonio De León, Jr., and Andrea Regina De León; brothers, Enrique Valle, Andres (Teresa) Valle, and Isauro Valle (Mari Rodriguez); as well as numerous other family and friends.
Services will be held at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 1704 Sandman St, Laredo, TX 78041 on Saturday, April 23rd at 1:30 PM.
