Para mí ha llegado la hora del sacrificio y se acerca el momento de mi partida. He combatido el buen combate, he terminado mi carrera, siempre fiel a la fe. Por lo demás, ya está preparada la corona de los santos con que me premiara el Señor en aquel día; el cómo justo juez, me la dará junto a todos aquellos que han deseado su venida gloriosa. — 2 Timoteo 4: 6-8
Dora Angelica Sepulveda, 88, daughter of Margarito and Guadalupe Gonzalez of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico died February 23, 2014 surrounded by her family after a prolonged illness.
Mrs. Sepulveda was a devoted mother and grandmother, who was widowed at a young age, and demonstrated great strength of character and grace to raise her three children as a single parent. She found comfort and strength in her Catholic faith and during her youth she devoted many volunteer hours to service in her parish of San Agustin Church. When her children were old enough, she entered the workforce as a stenographer and secretary at Rodolfo L. Flores Forwarding where she worked for more than 20 years.
Her children and grandchildren are left with fond memories of her many talents. She was an exceptional cook, designed elaborate Easter baskets and hand-knit baby clothes.
