Obituary

Dora Espinosa Ramirez; 83, passed away peacefully on Monday February 19, 2024 in Laredo, Texas surrounded by her family.

She was a graduate of St Augustine High school and later continued her studies in San Antonio to become a beautician.

She was an active member of the Christ the King Choir and served as a Eucharistic minister at St Augustine Catholic Church for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jose M and Avelina Espinosa and her husband of over 40 years Juan M Ramirez Jr. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth “Lizzy” (Martin) Gaytan and son Juan M Ramirez III. Grandchildren Gabriella “Gaby” and Isabella Gaytan and her sister Guadalupe Bazaldua. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the doctor’s office of the late Dr Milton Haber and staff, Eduardo Lightner her home health nurse, and in addition her caretakers at home Paty, Veronica, Nayely, Anabel and Edith.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
