David “Jerry” Rincon, Jr., 38, entered into eternal rest on July 22, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones in a San Antonio Hospital. In life we loved you; in death we will love you still. In our hearts is a space that no one will be able to fill. The loss of Jerry is inexplicable, to know him was to love him, and no words can heal the pain of losing him. But in this time of struggle we must all remember the life and spirit in which he lived, he was an inspiration to many. Not because he spoke greatly or lived largely but because he was rarely seen without a smile. He was a rock n roller who lived life to the fullest at every opportunity. Whether it was singing, grilling, or just having a beer, he was the one that could leave you rolling on the floor with laughter. A spirit that never let his losses control the direction of his life but push through to make himself and his family better. He loved without judgment and guarded his family tenderly. With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our son, husband, brother, uncle and grandson, but we will carry on with the memories you left us and everything that you stood for. Save a seat for us Johnny and protect us always. It is always harder to be left behind than to be the one to go, we will keep you in our hearts and live as you did with no regrets, until we meet again.
