Catarina F. Arredondo, 87, was called by the Lord on Monday, June 23, 2014. Mrs. Arredondo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and admired friend was born in Encinal, Texas to the late Mr. Francisco and Tomasita Flores.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Gloria Arredondo, Christina Flores, Johnny (Maria Moreno) Arredondo and Robert (Christina) Arredondo, brothers: Roberto (Elsa) Flores and Saragosa Flores, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00pm to 9:00pm where a vigil will commence at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Holy Family Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Johnny Arredondo, Robert Arredondo, Robert Arredondo, Jr., John Paul Arredondo, Johnny Arredondo, III and Frank Ruiz.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Arredondo family. Mrs. Arredondo (Grandma Cata) was such a sweet gentle soul and will always live on in our hearts.
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I hadn't seen Cata in many years I can never forget her. She was always kind to us growing up. I know how hard it is to lose your parents; It never stops hurting you just learn to tolerate the pain. Love you all.
