Blanca Elvia Chavez, 65, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. Mrs. Chavez was preceded in death by her father: Jesus Zavala and her son: Ruben Cisneros. She is survived by her children: Jorge (Veronica) Chavez and Reyna Chavez, granddaughter: Veronica Elyssa Chavez, mother: Reyna Resendez Zavala, siblings: Elisa, Jesus, Leticia, Jose Luis, Alma and Sergio Zavala and her dearest friends: Roy Ortiz, Griselda Gallegos and Mari Gloria, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family will be receiving guests Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm with a rosary recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
