Arturo C. Sanchez, 82, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 18, 2020.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 45 years of marriage, Dora D. Sanchez; children, Cristobal A. Sanchez, Michael M. (Karla) Sanchez and Jessica M. (Danny) Soto; grandchildren, Michael Sanchez, Aiden Sanchez, Daniel Soto and David Soto, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other family.

Due to the COVID pandemic and for the safety of all, the family will be live streaming the funeral services at www.freddickey.com on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, starting at 9:00 am.

My deepest condolences to the entire family of one of the best human beings I had the privilege of knowing

We recently found out about Mr. Sanchez's passing. We are sorry for your recent loss, I and my wife, Ana, had known Mr. Sanchez, since I worked downtown at Siros Sporting Goods in the 80's as a college student. I visited him through the years, and reminisced about Laredo's history. He would always greet you with a smile, and a handshake. I considered him an icon in downtown and Laredo's business history. We will miss him, but hopefully we can find solace in that he is in a better place. Our heartfelt sentiments, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your entire family.

Thank your Mr Arturo Sanchez for your years serving our community of Laredo. I’m in disbelief and sadden of your departure. I will cherish those talks that we used have when I would go by your store. May you REst In Peace. ❤️??❤️?? Halmiton Jewelry.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Sanchez and all of his family, Mr. Sanchez was a good friend of my dad (Alfredo Perez), and him and his father used to fix the gauges on the airplane panels back at the old Air Force Base. God rest his soul.

I was greatly saddened when I got the news of Arturo's death. Please be assured that the family is in my prayers as you struggle with the grief of this tragic loss. Arturo was a dear friend for over 30 years. I shall never forget the huge smile and his greeting, "Orville Ramsey" every time I visited his shop. I also cherish the time I spent with him in the shop and across the table sharing numerous meals with him. He had a tremendous love for his family and for his abundance of friends in Laredo and Nuevo Laredo. Dora, Chris, Michael, Jessica I wish God's arms of blessings with strength and comfort wrap around you to bring you through these trying days.
