Our mother was an amazing woman!
Besides being a mother, she was an extraordinary person, who went by “Nina”. She always had open arms for anyone who crossed her path. She believed, that the most important thing in life, is to be able to hold your head high by staying true to self and God.
Even on her darkest and hardest moments in life, she never complaint; she always maintained confidence in God’s divine providence. Hard work and determination characterized this strong and loving mother who showed what a mother’s love should be till the moment she took her last breath.
She lived a simple life, but it was a simple life she loved and cherished.
She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leopoldo and Rebeca Garza, her brother, Leopoldo Garza and sister, Juanita Garza.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Armandina (Jose Luis) Ramos, son, Ignacio (Marissa) Garza, grandchildren: Vanessa J., Gaston I. and Diego C. Garza and Karla A. Ramos, great-granddaughter, Ariana I. Walls, sisters: Rebecca Medellin and Maria Luisa (Nicolas) Medina, brothers: Ricardo (Esther Flores) Garza, Pedro Garza, Reginaldo (Lilia) Garza and Marcelino (Gloria) Rangel, nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 5pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive Laredo, TX 78041, where a prayer service will commence at 7:00pm.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 20, 2014, from the funeral home to Christ Miracle Center where a service will be officiated by Pastor Esther Gallegos. Interment will follow immediately at the City Cemetery.
