Antonio Davila, 86, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2014.
Born in Cienega de Flores, N. L., Mexico, Mr. Davila eventually came to the United States where he worked for the Ingland Steel Company of East Chicago, Indiana, for 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raul Davila and his son, Domingo Davila.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Davila, sons:, Ricardo (Sheila) Davila, Raul (Juana) Davila and Jesus (Malena) Davila, daughter, Juanita Davila, daughter-in-law, Mary Davila, siblings: Jesus (Elena) Davila, Alicia (Roman) Ramos and Mario (Consuelo) Davila, sister-in-law, Rosa Davila, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 23, 2014, from 4pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, Laredo, TX, 78041, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
