Mrs. Vela is preceded in death by her parents: Baltazar and Teodora Ramos, husband: Pedro Vela, son: David Vela and brothers. She is survived by her children: Guadalupe (Arnoldo) Arambula of Arlington, TX, Ana M. (Julian) Ramos of Houston, TX, Berta C. (Arturo) Ramirez of Laredo, TX, Estela (Juan) Perales of Brownsville, TX and Pedro (Yolanda) Vela, III of Houston, TX, brother: Juan Ramos of San Antonio, TX. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Regent Care Center for the attention and care of Mrs. Antonia R. Vela. The family will be receiving family and friends at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 4pm-9pm, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at St. John Newman Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
