Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Molina de Ramos; children, Lyssa (Felix) Barratachea, Jonathan (Olivia Fernandez) Ramos, Andrew Ramos, Kevin Ramos, Evelyn Serna ( Jesus Torres), Christian Serna (Sabrina Sanchez); grandchildren, Isaac Barratachea, Kellan Job Ramos, Aidan Torres, Aaron Torres, Julian Serna, Micaela Serna; mother, Zoila Ramos; siblings, Yolanda (Gerardo) Rodriguez, Sandra (Joe) Martinez, Roberto (Ana) Ramos, Maria E. (Beto) Martinez, Ana (David) Rodriguez; also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The family will be receiving guests, Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will start at 7:00 pm. Cremation will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences to the Ramos family. I was so sorry to hear that Andy passed away. I knew Andy from high school; I was his date for his senior prom, and we were good friends. I have very fond memories of Andy and our friendship all those years ago. I remember Andy as a very sweet, caring, and thoughtful person with an easygoing personality; he always had a smile of his face. It's great to see he never changed! Thanks for sharing the photos. It's great to see that he had such a beautiful family and a great life. Rest in peace Andy.

Our sincere condolences to the Ramos family on your great loss of a husband, father, grandpa, and a friend to many. We worked together when he joined our family at Laredo Sector, U, S, Border Patrol. Andy was a proud member of our Laredo Sector group and always had a smile no matter the job assigned to him. Andy was the perfect example of the best of the best of a law enforcement officer. Andy and I had something in common, we were both diabetics. I feel very privilege, proud and honored to call him my friend and to have served with him at Laredo Sector. Due to my health issues I will not be able to attend services. Andy will understand. Vaya con Dios Amigo, until we meet again. Buddy you earned your wings. Always in my prayers and hope you are assigned the Laredo area to care for us all in these critical and troubled times.

To the Ramos Family, Please accept my sincere heartfelt condolences over the passing of Andy. I had the pleasure of working with Andy under then Sheriff Mario Santos. We followed separate career paths within US law enforcement. Last year, I was fortunate to see him during a dove hunt at a friend's ranch, and meet two of his sons; Andrew and Kevin. We were able to catch up on many things since we had not seen each other in years. Five days prior to his passing we had spoken. He was excited about going to the ranch again, and about motorcycle riding. That would be our last conversation. Rest in Peace Andy, until we meet again!
