Andelia L. Garza, 96, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

Mrs. Garza was a devoted wife, dedicated mother and an exceptional grandmother.  Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple character that won the trust and hearts of many.  She loved preparing meals for her family and playing poker with her dear friends.

Mrs. Garza was known to be filled with love, interest and compassion towards others, especially her family.

Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her husband: Guadalupe V. Garza, children: Felipe “Pipe” Garza and Mike Garza, step-son: Jose “Cheche: Garza, granddaughter: Melissa Ann Gutierrez, great-grandchildren: Jorge Alberto Salinas, Jr. and Brandon Green and dear friend: Dave West.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Priscilla (Hector Mario) Garza Salinas, Leonor “Noni”G. The family will receive guests Sunday, April 3, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral service will be held Monday, April 4, 2016, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Jorge Alberto Salinas, Roldan R.C. Chavez, Anthony Garza, Danny Garza, Cristelo Garza, Hector Adame, Jr., Carlos J. Adame, Humberto R. Gutierrez and Christopher Cabello.
