Amelia Gonzalez, 88 passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at her residence in Laredo, Texas.  She was a Martin High School graduate, Class of 1952. A homemaker & dedicated the rest of her life to caring for her immediate family members.

She is survived by: Her only Niece Ana Luisa Esparza Gonzalez & her niece’s children Maegan Nicole Esparza, Vanessa Jaclyn Esparza, Agustin Esparza, III, & Nathan Christian Gonzalez whom she nicknamed Jerry. Also survived by her only brother-in law Ruben Alfonso (+Mary) Puig.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Gonzalez, Sr., Emilia Gonzalez Ortegon, sister Josephine Gonzalez, brother Jose Gonzalez, Jr. (+Evangelina Ramirez), & sister Mary Puig Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11:00. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Church.
