Obituary

 

Alicia Treviño, born September 10, 1926 passed away peacefully at the age of 91,on Saturday, September 16, 2017, losing her battle to cancer.  She was surrounded by loving friends and family.

Alicia was predeceased by her father Adolfo Treviño (1990), her mother Cristela Treviño (1946), and brother in law Ramon Rios (1990).

She is survived by her older sister, Elena Rios, her nieces and nephews: Gilberto R. Rios, Graciela Guerra, Ricardo R. Rios, Esmeralda Y. Rios and Rosa I. Rios Garza. Great nieces and nephews:   Hector Manuel Perales III, Hevian Michael Perales, Hestefan Marko Perales, Lillian Marie Perales, Lisa Lani Guerra De Los Santos, Daniel Kimo Guerra, Gilberto Rios Jr, Aryan Rios Espinoza, Ricardo Rios, Jr. and Tiffany N. Rios. Her younger sister Minerva Rodriguez, nieces and nephews: Ernesto Molina, Ricardo J. Rodriguez Jr., Leonardo R. Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Maria C. Rodriguez, Luis A. Rodriguez, Jorge L. Rodriguez, and Yolanda S. Barajas.

Great nieces and nephews: Martha Alvarez, Aracely Alvarez, and Fernando Alvarez. Her youngest sister Melida Rodriguez and nephew Juan J. Rodriguez.

Alicia was born in Laredo,TX where she grew up to be a social butterfly and well known in her barrio La Azteca, with her doors and heart always open. Licha will always be remembered as a loving aunt and friend; whose greatest passion was helping others.

The family will receive guest Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, September 22, 2017, at  9:00 a.m. at San Agustin Cathedral. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Hector M Perales, Hevian M Perales, Hestefan M Perales, Juan J. Rodriguez, Ricardo R. Rios and Daniel Kimo Guerra.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family.
