Alfredo Hinojosa, Jr. 101, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013.Mr. Hinojosa was born on December 2, 1911 in Benavides, Texas to the late, Alfredo and Anita Hinojosa. He resided in Laredo and worked as an accountant until retiring. Among several likes and hobbies, Mr. Hinojosa loved the outdoors especially ranching. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife: Otilia G. Hinojosa, parents: Alfredo and Anita Hinojosa, brothers: Eloy Hinojosa, Santos Hinojosa, Rafael Hinojosa, Leonzo Hinojosa and Jose Amado Hinojosa. He is survived by his children: Maria Christina (Augusto) Bustamante and Jose Mario (Eunice) Hinojosa, grandchildren: Carlos Augusto Bustamante, Andres Bustamante and 1ST LT Jose Mario (Valerie) Hinojosa, Jr., siblings: Ludivina H. Laredo and Gilberto G. Hinojosa. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude towards Olivia Espinoza, Imelda Espinoza and Juanita Eguia. The family will be receiving guests Friday, April 26, 2013, at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services starting at 8:00am to 10:30am. A holy rosary will be recited at 9:00am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Catered reception will follow at the Fred Dickey reception room.
