Alfredo Gallegos Jr., 71 passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Laredo Medical Center.
Mr. Gallegos was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Gallegos Sr., mother, Rosa B. Gallegos, brother, Pablo Gallegos and sister, Rosa Maria Gallegos.
He is survived by his sisters: Maria Eugenia Rich, Annamaria Salvador, Laura A. Cortez, Sister Thelma Irene Gallegos and brothers: Carlos Roberto Gallegos, Ricardo Gallegos, Guillermo David Gallegos, his nephews: Carlos Gallegos Jr., Alex Gallegos, Brian Corey Babinski, Rick Gallegos Jr. and niece, Sylvia Gallegos, brother-in-law, Kevin Cortez, sister-in-law, Pilar Gonzalez Gallegos, and other relatives.
As a young man, he began working for Mr. Laurel Rambler; there he learned how to fix cars and drive. Alfredo eventually retired from the City Maintenance Department, where he worked for more than thirty years.
Funeral Services will be held, Friday, February 21, 2014 at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Dr. with a visitation from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Chapel Service will commence at 12:30pm. The funeral procession will depart Friday, February 21, 2014, at 1:00 pm to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
