He is preceded in death by his parents, Benito & Teresa Diaz; sister, Margarita Meza.
Left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Jorge R. Martinez, and Deborah L. Martinez; mother of his grandchildren, Elizabeth Perez; brothers, George Diaz (Laredo), Benito Diaz (Germany), and Jorge A. Martinez.
The family will be receiving guests on Monday, July 25, 2022, in the Angeles chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
Military Honors will be provided by the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard and Presentation of the U.S. Flag will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
