Our Dear brother, Alberto Rodriguez entered eternal rest before our Lord and Savior on December 15, 2022.
Alberto was born in Laredo, Texas on April 2, 1968 to Martin and Virginia Rodriguez. He was the youngest of our family of Nine.
He lived in Laredo all his life and graduated from J. W. Nixon High School in 1986. He worked for many years as Manager of various convenience stores. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He had an awesome sense of humor and was a joy to be around. He loved his family and friends dearly.
Alberto was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Virginia Rodriguez and his Sister Alicia Rodriguez with whom he shared day of birth (15 years apart).
Left to miss him and cherish his memory are his siblings: Raymundo (Ines Perez) Rodriguez, Esperanza Rodriguez, Alfonso (Maria+) Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Maria Elena (Ramiro) Hernandez, Yolanda (Jose Rodriguez) Escobedo and Victor Rodriguez; Nieces and Nephews – Raymundo (Veronica), Eduardo, Oscar (Ana), Claudia (German), Sergio (Jessica), Ricardo (Patricia), Veronica (Rene), Nadia (Ramon), Mariela (Sebastian), Graciela (Javier), Jorge (Brenda), Ruben (Selina), Cynthia (Preston), Ramiro Jr. , Monica (J.T.) and numerous grandnephews and nieces.
Also surviving him are uncles, aunts, cousins and friends, including his best friends, Roberto Elizondo, Martin Vega, Juan Herrera and Javier Orellano.
The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A Chapel service will be officiated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
