Agapito Morales, born on March 24, 1922, in Uribeño, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the age of 91.He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that will greatly be missed.
Mr. Morales was preceded in death by his parents: Serapio (Vidala) Morales, son: Homero Morales, daughter: Margarita Morales, brothers: Manuel (Emma) Morales, Fabian (Sara) Morales, Serapio (Beatriz) Morales, Jr., Zarragoza (Petra) Morales and Felipe (Antonia) Morales, sisters: Amada (Alfonso) Bustamante, Andrea (Catarino) Villarreal, Petra (Amador) Mendoza, Vidala (Saul) Gonzalez and Francisca (Genovevo) Bustamante. He is survived by his wife: Olivia G. Morales, children: Sergio (+Irma) Morales, Nelda (Roberto) Garcia and Jose Agapito Morales, Jr., grandchildren: Robert Morales, Veronica Garza, Velma Donovan, Vanessa Garza, Homero Morales, Jr., Yvette Rodriguez, Rebecca Hernandez, Cynthia Saenz, Roberto Garcia, III and 12 great-grandchildren, brothers: Antonio (Victoria) Morales and Jose C. (Eloisa) Morales, sister: Maria (+Amador) Martinez and caretaker: Graciela Sanchez.
The family will be receiving guests, Friday, July 19, 2013 at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services from 5pm to 9pm where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 20, 2013 at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral services arrangements are under the care of Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 4502 Thomas Ave. Laredo, TX 78041.
