Obituary

Patricia “Patty” Peña, at 61 years of age was called into the arms of our savior Jesus Christ on October 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Patty will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her great sense of humor, and her bubbly personality. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Arnulfo Jr. (Lynette) Cazares and step-son Benny Jo (Clara) Cazares; her parents Rafael and Judy Peña; sister and brothers Melissa (Eddie) Cuellar, Rafael (Ofelia) Peña, and Michael (Ashley) Peña.

Her father and mother in law Benito and Apolonia Cazares; also her sisters and brothers in law Alicia (Reynaldo) Rodriguez, Benito+ (Kathy) Cazares, Gerardo (Linda R.) Casarez, George (Linda V.) Cazares, Ricardo (Maria) Cazares, Daniel (Beatriz) Cazares, Sylvia (Joel) Peña, and Alberto (Monica) Cazares.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loved relatives.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Fred Dickey Funeral Home, 1320 Trey Dr, Laredo, Texas 78041 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A vigil will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 1704 Sandman St, Laredo, Texas 78041. The mass will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery
