Blanca E. Gonzalez-Price

Blanca E. Gonzalez-Price, age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. A life-long resident of Laredo, Blanca lived a full and vibrant life, centered around her deep Catholic faith, devotion to family, and her love for dancing. Now, she is dancing once again, “tripping the light fantastic” in heaven, reunited with her beloved husband, Memo, and her cherished daughter, Cindy, who preceded her in death.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Blanca’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind her two sons, Dr. Guillermo Gonzalez (and his late wife Sally) and Gerardo Gonzalez (wife Flor), as well as her grandchildren Bill (Leslie), Kelo (Norma), Flory Severino (Tom), Sarah, Matthew (Cori), Catherine, and Austin Jasso (son of his late mother Cindy). Blanca was also a proud great-grandmother to Tommy, Sofia, and Sam Severino.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends, and her spirit will continue to shine through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 9:00 am at San Luis Rey Catholic Church to honor her life, followed by her burial, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved Memo in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to a charity of your choice. Blanca’s family extends their gratitude for the love and support shown during this time.
