Alberto Herrera, 49, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
In loving memory of Alberto who was a very loving man, caring, and intelligent. We’ll always remember his special smile, caring heart, that warm embrace you gave us. We’ll always remember you. They’ll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we’ll always have for you.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Edgardo Herrera; niece, Ashley Marie Herrera; paternal grandparents, Domingo Senior & Consuelo Herrera; maternal grandparents, Ambrosio and Consuelo Vazquez.
Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life Susy Maldonado, mother of his child Alexis Herrera and grandson, Spencer Virjan; son, Jaime Gonzalez; parents, Domingo & Bertha Herrera; siblings, Anna Laura Herrera, Diana Herrera, Joe Lee (Raquel) Herrera, Michael Paul (Lydia) Herrera and Ricardo Herrera; as well as other family and friends who will greatly miss him.
The family will be receiving guests Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will start at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Saint Jude Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Paul Herrera, Ricardo Herrera, Gilberto Juarez, Jon Garza, Edgardo Garza, Michael Paul Herrera, Jr., Bryan Herrera, Danny Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Domingo Herrera, Jr. and Joe Lee Herrera.
Due to the COVID pandemic and for the safety of all, the family will be live streaming the funeral services including Holy Rosary at www.freddickey.com on Thursday, starting at 5:00 pm.
