Victor Martinez, 71, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, May 27, 2023. Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents; Consuelo B. Martinez and Leon T. Martinez, and brother; Leon Martinez Jr.
He is survived by the mother of his daughter; Rosa B. Martinez, daughter; Selina (Reyes E. Martinez Jr) Martinez, grandsons; Andrew E Martinez, Matthew E Martinez, Isaac E Martinez & Jacob E Martinez, siblings; Irma Martinez, Federico (Guadalupe) Martinez , Maria Teresa Garcia, Juan Esteban (Miroslava) Martinez & Juan Jose (Sandra) Martinez, sister in law; Mary Martinez; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
He was a Martin High School Class of 1970 graduate who played basketball. His pride and joy was his daughter until his four grandsons came along and they stole his heart. He was always there for games, events, and birthdays for his daughter and grandsons.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, from the funeral home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Funeral mass will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Reyes E. Martinez, Jr, Gerardo Martinez, Fermin Garcia IV, Ricardo Ruiz, Mario Guzman, Jr, David Guzman, Daniel Guzman, & Michael Guzman.
