He is preceded in death by his father, Gilberto A. Gonzalez; paternal grandparents, Victor Leroy & Amelia Negrete Gonzalez; cousins, Cezzily A. Arriaga, and Xavier Arriaga.
Victor is survived by his mother, Veronica Valdez; sister, Alexia Grizzel (Jose Ignacio Martinez) Gonzalez; maternal grandparents, Arnulfo & Maria Valdez; maternal aunts and uncles, Cecilia (Sacramento Palacios) Valdez, Ruben (Jacqueline) Valdez, Arnulfo (Erica) Valdez; paternal aunts and uncles, Victor L. Gonzalez, Jr., Viola (Victor) Uribe, Juan Andres Gonzalez, Jaime Gonzalez; cousins, Juan Andres Gonzalez, Xavier, Ruben, James, Sophia, Russel; as well as numerous other family and friends.
The Gonzalez family will be receiving guests on Monday, May 1, 2023, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church, located at 3018 Davis Ave, Laredo, TX 78040. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Mijito, you left us too soon. God has a better plan for you. I'll never know why but l know l'll never ask. I'll always remember you with you laughing and goofy sense of humor, just like your dad's. I know you are in God's kingdom now and rejoicing with your loved ones, especially you dad and Cezzily. Please watch over your mom and sister, this is so very hard on them.
