TEODORO A. TREVINO
March 21, 1943 – December 17, 2018
Teodoro A. Treviño, 75, was called by the Lord to his resting place in Heaven on Monday, December 17, 2018.
Teodoro was a strong willed, hardworking, and humble man who shared his knowledge and hard work ethic with his children and grandchildren. He worked with the Webb County Road and Bridge Department for over 22 years. After his retirement he was able to spend more time doing the things he was passionate about like working at his ranch, taking care of his horses and animals, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family. Another one of his passions was music; there was not a time when he wasn’t singing or whistling a song. God blessed Teodoro with the opportunity to fulfill all of his dreams and enjoy his life to the fullest. He was also blessed with lifelong friendships which he cared for dearly. He has provided countless lifelong memories that will continue on through his family and be cherished forever. He will forever be remembered as a loving family man and will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sotero Trevino and Olivia Aurelia Wolff Treviño; as well as by his siblings, Sotero C. Treviño, Jose Roberto Treviño and Olivia Rios.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, San Juanita Treviño; children, Janie (Ferny) Rodriguez of Zapata, Enrique “Kike” (Sandra) Treviño and Teddy (Leticia) Treviño, Jr. of Laredo; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Hilda (Oscar) Espinoza, Francis Treviño, Irma (+Fernando) Vasquez all of San Antonio and Larry (Darlene) Treviño of Slinger, Wisconsin.
The family will receive guests Friday, December 21, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
Funeral procession will depart at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from the funeral chapel to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m.
Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.
