My condolences to the family, and especially Jerry. Mrs. Salinas was a wonderful and thoughtful person.
My heart goes out to Ms. Sylvia Salinas family. Your mom was a lovely lady that I enjoyed having conversations with when I worked at the Laredo County Club. I just found out about her passing. Prayers are with you.
We are very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother, Sylvia. She was a very charming and gracious lady. I remember always seeing her with a beautiful smile on her face. As a Customs House Broker, I had occasion to work with her when she worked with the U.S. Customs Service. She was known to go above and beyond the call of duty and was highly respected in the international trade community. But most of all, I enjoyed discussing Laredo's history of which she had extensive knowledge. May our prayers bring you comfort during this time of grief full well knowing that many others are also praying for your family. Love, Hector and Diana Farias and Family
My dear, smart Sylvia, my life long friend, I will miss you..our hour-long talks .! My heart was so sad when I learned you were no longer with us, but I know you are up in Heaven above for sure! My sincere condolences to your family. May God bless them always!
She was my beautiful gracious Texas mom who treated me no less than family. She loved to go out and play cards and be with her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was everything. To the beautiful Guajardo, Chapa and Salinas families, I send my deepest condolences for your great loss. She loved you and was loved so much and she lived a beautiful life.
What a beautiful lady she was & is… I remember going to our girls club volleyball tournament in Las Vegas together. Sylvia was so fun & energetic & just a joy to be around. We had such a great time with her! What a true blessing your mother was❤️ I shall keep her and your beautiful family in my thoughts & prayers…
Dearest "Amiga," I remember the many Friday and Saturday nights that we spent with you and Rogelio. We spent many an evening playing cards and going out for dinner. You always had apple pie ready for Bob's dessert after our dinner. Those were the days, my friend! I once had two people to call on May 31, my brother Javier and you. I know you have now joined your loved ones. God bless! My deepest condolences to you, Becky, Linda, and Gerry. Your mother was such a wonderful woman. She was always willing to help everyone that she knew. Sylvia will be missed by the many, many people that she knew. Although we didn’t see one another at the end, she will always be one of the dearest, kindest friends I ever had. Sincerely, Mariangela Holliday
Dearest Salinas family, I don't get the paper any longer and did not know of your mother's passing until this morning. My most heartfelt condolences to all of you. She was such a dear lady. I always enjoyed visiting with her. I even had the pleasure of seeing her while on a cruise which start a new topic for us to talk about .... how much we loved cruising. I pray that she is at rest, and that you find peace in knowing that she was loved and admired by so many.
