Sylvia Liendo Palacios, 73, went home to the Lord on Tuesday April 4, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Laredo. She was a teacher at Laredo Christian Center.
She is survived by her 3 children. Adolfo (Kathy) Palacios, of Etna Green, Indiana, Cindee (Ray) Arter of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mario Palacios of Laredo, grandchildren; Andrew Palacios of Laredo, Belinda Cardaci of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Jeff Lillie of Lodi, Ohio, great grand-children; Grace Smith and Christopher Cardaci, Jr., siblings; Alicia (Vicente) Villa of Georgetown, Tx, Alvaro (Minerva) Liendo of Laredo, Fabian (Olivia) Liendo III., of Beaumont, CA , Jose (Blaza) Liendo of Houston, TX, and Elivira Diaz of Laredo.
She is preceded in death by her husband Adolfo Palacios Sr., son; Daniel Palacios, parents; Fabian and Maria Liendo, brothers; Eloy, Victor and Mario Liendo.
A memorial service will be held at Laredo Christian Center, 2920 N. Arkansas Ave., on Monday, April 10, 2017, from 4pm-8 pm and Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 4pm – 6pm with a Service at 6pm. Cremation Service was by Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services.
Sentimos mucho la perdida de su ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo Dios nos promete eliminar las enfermedades, en Isaías 33:24 dice que llegara el día en que nadie dirá "estoy enferma". Nos promete también eliminar la muerte, en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios limpiara toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no sera mas". Y por último nos dejas saber que tiene el deseo de devolverles la vida a nuestros seres queridos que hayan muerto al decirnos en Hechos 24:15 que "va ha haber una resurrección". Entonces muy pronto Jehova Dios eliminará para siempre todos nuestros sufrimientos.
Sylvia's Family My condolences on the passing of your mom. We grew up in the neighborhood and were the best of friends. When she worked at HEB downtown Laredo, she would buy the single records for us to play at home. We'd sing and dance all the songs of the time. She was a sweetheart. May she Rest In Peace.
Sylvia's Family, I knew Sylvia we became great friends in High School throughout our Senior year. Many beautiful memories I carry because of her kind heart. May She Rest In Peace.
