Obituary

Serina May Guerra, 49, was called to the presence of our Lord and entered into everlasting rest and peace on September 29, 2017, in Laredo, Texas. We praise our Lord for all the years He gave her to us and allowed our family to cherish and honor the fullness of her jovial, happy, and sometimes prankish mannerism in life. Our “Rina” will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Jesus J. Guerra and Estella S. Guerra; siblings, Arminda (Daniel) Guerra Nieto, Maricelda (Samuel Rene) Guerra Ramos, Jesus J. (Cynthia) Guerra, III, Valentina (Ramiro) Guerra Ortiz, Jr. and Javier Antonio (Cynthia Ann) Guerra; nephew, Joshua Aaron (Gloria) Guerra, 10 nieces, 8 nephews and 1 grand nephew.

The family will receive guests Thursday, October 5, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral service will be Friday, October 6, 2017, at Santo Niño Church.  Funeral mass will start at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Jesus J. Guerra III, Javier A. Guerra, Joshua A. Guerra, Justin G. Tijerina, Samuel R. Ramos III, Ramiro Ortiz III, Samuel R.
