Ruben Z. “La Bruja” Gonzalez, 48, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Ruben was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felisita Z. Gonzalez and Clemente Gonzalez. He is survived by his; sisters, San Juanita (Raul) Gomez, Yolanda (Mike) Gomez, Diana (Heraclio) Bernal; brother, Gerardo (Alma) Gonzalez; nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation and a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 from Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services to Mother Cabrini Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Raul Gomez, Jesus Gomez, Gerardo Gonzalez, Mike Gomez, Ramiro Castilla and Heraclio Bernal.
