Ruben Pineda Farias, 82, entered into eternal life surrounded by his beloved family on, Sunday, March 19, 2023. Mr. Pineda was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. In his youth he loved to dance. He enjoyed music, cooking out for his family and spending time with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Sr. Jose Pineda and Juanita Farias de Pineda and brother; Jose Pineda Farias.
He is survived by his wife; Josefina Velazquez de Pineda, children; Ruben Pineda, Jr., Elizabeth (Jorge) Flores, Sandra Pineda, Ana Laura Pineda, Jessica (Bobby Martinez) Pineda and Jose Pineda, grandchildren; Justin Lee, Kimberly N. Pineda, Brandon Lee, Ruben Pineda, III., Kassandra G. Lee, Christopher Pineda, Krystal M. Inclan, Lianna L. Inclan, Kendra Aguilar, Joseph Pineda, Kate Pineda, Kaylynn Martinez, Aaron Martinez, Leah Martinez and Randy Martinez, great-grandchildren; Leonardo Liguori and Zeon Muscarello and sisters; Maria Luisa Pineda de Salazar, Juan Salazar, Evangelina Pineda de Meza and Jorge Meza; half brothers, Juan Herrera and Andy Herrera.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, March 24, 2023, from the funeral home to San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Funeral mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery
