God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He looked down and saw your tired face. Rosa M. Salazar, 87, of Laredo Texas, entered the gates of heaven on November 28, 2022.
She was born on August 13, 1935 in Hebbronville where she grew up in. She later moved to Laredo and devoted most of her life working at Neel Title Abstract Company. Rosa loved like a mother, though she never had children of her own. She loved all her nieces and nephews dearly and she embraced every milestone in their lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Maria Salazar and her siblings Graciela Munoz, Marta S. Martinez and Francisco J. Salazar.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews with special regards to her nieces Rebecca R. Rodriguez and Monica M. Sharkey for taking care of her during her final days.
Please join us in celebrating her life. On Friday morning December 9, 2022, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, where a rosary will be recited at 9:00 am.
Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 am from Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Timothy Sharkey Jr, Timothy Sharkey III, Edgar J. Rodriguez, Nicolas D. Rodriguez, Diego R. Rodriguez, and Javier Salazar. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don McCoy and Richard E. Trevino.
