Rosa Dolores Garcia, 79, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 1, 2019. She will always be remembered for having a huge heart and a helping hand to all those in need. She was a great mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, wife, aunt, friend, and teacher and will be missed by many.
Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, Rene Mario Garcia, and her siblings: Guadalupe Hastings, Jesus Meza, Juan Meza, Benito Meza, Alfredo Meza, Jose Meza, and Maria Gutierrez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rene Mario (Janette) Garcia, Jr., Mara Isabel Garcia, and Melva (Juan Carlos) Sanchez; grandchildren, Carlos and Patricio Sanchez, Rene R. Garcia, Jr. and Valentina Garcia; siblings, Estela (Jorge) Vega, Chavela Morado, Elena (Joe) Meister, and Lucy De Arkos; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 am.
Pall bearers will be Rene Mario Garcia, Jr., Juan Carlos Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Hector Vasquez, Alfredo Meza, Ernesto Meza, and Rafael Garcia.
