Rogelio Garza

Rogelio Garza, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011.Roy was retired from Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and received an Honorable discharge. He enjoyed walking, reading and writing poetry. Roy was a loving husband, step father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irma L. Garza; daughter, Cynthia A. Smith; stepsons, Andres (Maribel) Garcia and Gustavo (Annette) Garcia; sister, Mrs. Emma Arechiga; nephews and nieces, Father Dennis Arechiga, Joemma Arechiga, Beto Arechiga, Bobby Garza, Tita Garza, Joe Albert Garza and Mimmi Garza. Family members will be receiving friends and family at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services for a memorial service on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 5pm-9pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm with Father Dennis Arechiga officiating. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011. Everyone is encouraged to meet at St. Patrick Church at 555 Del Mar Blvd. for Holy Mass at 10:00am.
