In Loving Memory of Roberto Lopez
October 26, 1945 – July 3, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Roberto Lopez, who departed this life on July 3, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on October 26, 1945, Roberto lived a life full of love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family and community.

Roberto shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Alma Lopez. Together, they built not only a loving home but also a successful family business, Al and Rob Sales Uniform Store—a legacy of hard work and unity that continues through their children.

He is survived by his sons: Roberto Lopez Jr. (Thelma), Jose Orlando Lopez (Rosa), and Luis Alberto Lopez (Erika). Roberto was a proud grandfather to twelve grandchildren and a great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him endless joy and pride.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son Marco Antonio Lopez and grandson Carlos Xavier Lopez, whom he now joins in eternal peace.

Roberto will be remembered for his warm heart, tireless work ethic, and the love he poured into every aspect of his life. His spirit lives on in the memories shared, the lessons taught, and the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

The Lopez family will be receiving guests on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  The chapel will reopen at 7:00 am on  Friday, July 11, 2025 to depart at 8:30 am for a Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
