Ricardo Solis, 69, entered into eternal rest, Monday, September 9, 2024.

Rick, who was a long time employee of F Zuniga Incorporated was loved and admired as a wonderful Husband, Father, Big Brother, Son and Friend to those he loved. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching his Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. Rick loved travel and good food, always living life to the fullest.

Mr. Solis is survived by his dearest wife of 29 years of marriage, Laura Esther Solis; his beloved son, Ricky (Kathryn) Solis; siblings, Fidel A. Cantu, III., Ruben E. (Celina and Lainey) Cantu and Irene (Matthew Salas) Cantu; Mother, Irma G. Cantu; sisters, Georgia A. Wise, Nancy Wise, Helena Wise and Cecilia Wise; Mother-In-Law, Esther Rodriguez; brothers in law, Julian (Luz) Rodriguez, Jose E. Rodriguez, Ramiro (Sara) Rodriguez, Javier (Betty) Rodriguez, Blanca (Leonel) San Miguel and Juan C. Rodriguez; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends that will greatly miss him. He was preceded in death by his Father, Fidel A. Cantu Jr., Father-In-Law, Julian Rodriguez, and Olga B. Wise.

Rick’s love for his wife and son was endless. He was the rock of the family, always providing comfort in challenging times. Knowing his family was happy provided him with great happiness. The love we shared with each other will forever be present in our hearts.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, September 13, 2024 in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 8:00am from the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
