My grandfather was Ramiro Pena, brother of Ricardo. I remember going to Tio Ricardo's house with my family as a kid for family gatherings. His back yard was like a maze. My brother and I had a blast running around playing with all the younger kids. Now I work at a concrete ready-mix company in Laredo and not too long ago Tio Ricardo called me because he wanted to pour a slab at the ranch. After much planning and a rain cancellation, we finally sent the trucks to the ranch for the pour. As mentioned yesterday at the Rosary, he did all this to bring his family together. Tio Ricardo had a gentle soul and will be missed.
My most sincere condolences to The Peña Family. It was a great pleasure in getting to know Mr. Peña. He had such a beautiful soul and was a very understanding person. He will be greatly missed. Thank you Norma for giving me the opportunity to be his CNA and for the trust you had in me. God bless you and your family always ? ❤️ Nora Mendiola
My sincerest condolences to you all. Your dad was a very special man. I have very fond memories of him from my childhood. I pray for strength and peace.
I met Mr. Pena when I worked for the City of Laredo Health Department, he was the kindest man I had ever met, he was caring, loving and just a joy to be around with. This world was a better place with him and now heaven will have the honor of his presence. On behalf of my wife Nora and I, we would like to offer our condolences to the entire Pena family, may you find some comfort in knowing that he now sits with the Lord in his Kingdom. May he rest in peace.
My dad and I often sit and talk about his remembrances of the childhood he shared with your mom. His memories helpme to recall mine. Christmas visits to your house and your dad's, ever present, smile. May God grant you the peace and comfort, all our love the Montemayor Family
