Ricardo Martinez, 72, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his; parents, Jesus and Juanita Martinez; sister, Trinidad Dovalina; wife Olga De La Garza Martinez; brother-in-law, Joel Jaime Johnson and parents in law, Agapito and Yolanda Johnson. He is survived by his; wife, Yolanda Martinez of Hebbronville; daughter, Leticia (Roberto) Gutierrez of Hebbronville; grandson, Robert Michael Gutierrez of Hebbronville; brothers, Jose Roman (Antonia) Martinez, Jorge (Eleanor) Martinez and Rogelio (Rosa) Martinez; sisters, Guadalupe (Esteban) Sosa, Maria Blazquez and Juanita Vaquera. Memorial Masses will be celebrated as follows: Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 12:00 pm at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville, Texas and Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Laredo, Texas. Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 59 with a flag detail by the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that any donations be made out to S.T.C.A.D.A. by calling 1-800-487-7752.
