With a heavy heart Raul Villegas, Jr., husband, father, son, brother and fantastic team leader passed from this life to eternal life.
Raul Villegas, Jr. was a colleague and team member at Nieto and Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services since 1999. The Laredo native was a 1982 graduate of J.W. Nixon High School and a 1986 graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Maricela G. Villegas; children, Raul Villegas III (Melissa Guerrero), Marlene (Fernando Garza, Jr.) Villegas, David (Anabel) Villegas, Danny (Michelle) Villegas, Ricardo (Jessica) Ramirez, Jr., Melissa (Salvador) Silva, Roberto C. Ramirez (Vivian); parents, Raul and Hortencia Villegas; siblings, Irma (Wayo) Butron, Jerry (Lily) Villegas, Eddie (Juanita) Villegas, Javier Villegas, and Sammy (Anna) Villegas; 20 grandchildren; as well as other family and friends who will greatly miss him.
For the safety of the family and community, the family will have a private gathering but you may watch the live stream of the funeral services including Holy Rosary at www.freddickey.com on Thursday, January 28, 2021, starting at 4:00 pm.
He’ll truly be missed not just by his family but the families he served and his team members.

Daddy, there is not a day that goes by that you are not in my thoughts. I miss you dearly daddy. You are the man I will always love for eternity. You are and always will be my 1st love. Raul, you were a blessing to all who knew you. Even the last time I saw you when you went to make arrangements you asked about my mom and my family.
