Ramona C. Rodriguez, 85, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her husband: Jesus Rodriguez, Sr., son: Jesus “Rock” Rodriguez, Jr., Roberto Rodriguez and Francisco J. Gonzalez, parents: Salvador (Andrea) Cavazos, brother: Servando Walker, sister-in-law: Dora Walker, brother: Abel Cavazos, sister-in-law: Anita Cavazos, brother: Guadalupe Cavazos, brother: Salvador Cavazos, brother: Alvaro Cavazos, sister: Aurora Cavazos, brother: Pedro Cavazos, sister-in-law: Francisca Cavazos and son-in-law: Ricardo Villarreal. She is survived by her loving children: Adelfa “Delfi” (Leopoldo) Garza, Raymond Gonzalez, Jr., Gloria (Jose) Villanueva, Janie (Virgilio) Varela, Maria Elvia Rodriguez, Alicia (Rafael) Castillo and Imelda Villarreal, sister: Elvia Cavazos, numerous grandchildren, great grand and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Rodriguez is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that will greatly miss her. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Carlos Casas, Retama Manor South Nursing Home and Nurses on Wheels of Laredo.

Family members will be receiving guest, Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be, Friday, September 13, 2013 at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church at 9:00am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
