November 12, 1942 – July 6, 2024

Our beautiful butterfly, Poonam Rajni Gidwani, 81, gained her wings and peacefully passed away July 6th, 2024.

Poonam was a devoted, caring and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Throughout her life, near or far, all her loved ones were always on her mind. She was very compassionate, warm hearted, giving and graceful in nature. Non relatives also saw her as a nurturing mother and aunt figure. Many were drawn to her radiating positive energy and loved to sit down with her, chat and enjoy some tea together. When Poonam was on this earth, her first thoughts were getting you comfortable if you were visiting in her home and how she can serve you and be there for you. She was very proud of her growing family, especially with one more great grandson on the way. The times she cherished the most a few years before her passing was having her daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all under the same roof in her home. She would refer to them as all of her children and it was when she was at ease the most. Poonam was also the most happy devoting her life to Baba. Many family members and friends have been positively impacted by her beautiful influence. Ultimately, Poonam’s goal was to spread love and keep the peace no matter what.

Poonam is preceded in death by her husband Gary U. Gidwani, her mother Putli Dadlani, her father Motiram Dadlani, her brother Arjun Dadlani, and her sister Koshi Daswani.

Poonam is survived by her daughter Manju U. Gidwani, her grandchildren Hana (Rudy) Ochoa and Noah Gidwani, her great grandchildren Ayden Ochoa and Corey Ochoa, her brother Trilok Dadlani, her sister Pushpa Bijlani and many other wonderful family members and friends. She will be dearly missed and her memory will forever carry on.
